Time to flip through my calendar as I do every year to note brilliant things about each year at it's conclusion. Oooh I'm so excited!
First of all, 2010 pretty much kicked 2009's ass which was an epic feat. There are so many great memories that came out of this year. Heads up 2011.
January: A lot of January was spent working on my Disney world scrapbook. As a result of this I currently have nothing else in my life scrapbooked for this year. I will probably spend next month working on that XD. There was sledding, randomly baking cakes, lots of trips to Half Price Books and obviously a lot of eating. The most important part of January was getting my job back at the library. While I was now going to be working at the West River branch it was still really nice to be back to work again. January was also the start of Spring Semester 2010 which currently holds my highest GPA. President Barack Obama came to LCCC which led to one crazy day.
February: Most Thursdays in February were spent taking random trips to McDonalds to visit Brittany. Stephanie and I volunteered at her church to go to the Haven House and organize one of their storage areas. Schoolwork basically dominated my February.
March: My first time at Dave & Busters was for Sara's birthday party. I built the Millennium Falcon out of Legos. We had a bonfire...in March. For St. Patrick's Day a group of us went to the Cleveland Zoo which started the beginning of a chain of drama throughout the year. Best to wash it down with a shamrock shake.
April: "Charlie" was discovered at McDonald's along with empty alcohol bottles in the park across from Finwood Estate. Stephanie's birthday was celebrated with the home opener of the Cleveland Indians which gave us a great workout (but I got the pin!) even though they lost. We also saw Riverdance which was amazing. There was a lot more shopping in April along with a lot more food eating.
May: May was probably one of my most favorite months of 2010. Meranda and I went to see Spring Awakening in Detroit so I finally learned what all of the hooplah had been about for the past year. From this trip I learned that the city of Detroit depresses me because of the tons of gutted out large buildings you see along the highway. Later in the month I returned to Detroit to go to their zoo (my favorite zoo) and ended up going through a not so great part of the city. Tons of boarded up houses (I heard something like 1 out of every 3 houses in Detroit is vacant. They're even selling homes for $1) and the ones that weren't boarded up were plastered with bars on the doors and windows to keep people out. I also went to the Pittsburgh zoo (meh) where Evan bought me the best stuffed penguin EVER. His name is Joe. I also got to go to Amish country for my first time and visited the William McKinley memorial and the National First Ladies museum in Canton. I also went to the Toledo zoo.
June: There was a lot of beach going in June. I was at the lake at least once a week. Stephanie scored free tickets to see "Despicable Me". I worked til 12:30am one night and was paid to play Apples to Apples for four hours. The crew took some time to kick back and relax in Vacationland which is for grilling and not for sock wearing. Evan's grandma turned 80 so we went down to Columbus to have dinner with her and the family. We also stopped at the Harding House in Marion.
July: The 4th of July, or rather the 3rd of July was celebrated at the country club with Evan and his family. My mom and I went down to Columbus to do some shopping. Random sleepover at Brittany's house which was filled with night swimming, tons of food and Brokeback Mountain.
August: My birthday was spent at the Cleveland zoo and I had dinner at the Macaroni Grill with Evan, his family and Courtney which was up from Florida. Meranda and I went to Geauga Lake, my first time at a water park. Beginning of Fall Semester 2010 which I remained on the Dean's List. Jessica and I finally have a class together (gooooo biology!).
September: The Early Childhood Education Club had it's first meeting. Megan and I founded the club and are co-presidents until June. More bonfires, random dressing up to go to the delicious Cheesecake Factory, lots of Arbys.
October: Stayed a weekend in Columbus with my mom to explore and go shopping. We came home with a trunk full of bags. My old laptop crapped out so I bought a new one. Spent Halloween in Columbus for Evan's cousins baby shower.
November: Lots more Arbys. Saw the first performance in the new EHS auditorium. Midnight showing of Harry Potter 7 pt. 1. Cleveland zoo. 3 am Black Friday shopping. Random Black Friday mall time terror with the crew.
December: End of Fall Semester 2010 (thank god), TAB christmas/anniversary party, Straight No Chaser concert, shitloads of Christmas shopping, crappy Christmas Eve, epic Christmas Day, amazing Crew Christmas Party.
Best year EVER!

Platypus.
Spent Christmas Eve at my aunts. I'm not even going to get in to that because I really am not sure how to react. I'm going to play extreme sick next year so I don't have to deal with it anymore.
Christmas was spent over Evan's house. We have a lot of fun over there. We played a game that Evan bought me called "Would You Rather?" which was freaking hilarious. One of the challenges was Michelle had to say who three people were by only touching their face. XD We also played Pictionary on the Wii and Evan, Tina and I won. We had a delicious dinner. Evan bought me a necklace that is super pretty but super delicate. I keep fearing I'm either going to lose it or break it. He also bought me a Disney Pin of the Ellie badge from UP which was a really sweet gift :)
Tomorrow I have to sacrifice lazing around the house all day to go up to the college to pick of a shit load of canned food with my dad to take to the Salvation Army because SIFE FUCKING SUCKS AND DIDN'T PICK UP OUR FOOD LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. So now I'm stuck doing it all by myself without even knowing if someone will be there to unlock the damn classroom for me.
Went shopping with Sara today and found some good deals in Victoria's Secret and Target. I love sales.

He Ate My Heart
1. It's Christmas Eve. That means I get to stuff my face with delicious smoked ham and my grandma's cheesy potatoes (YUM!).
2. I finally started reading The Chronicles of Narnia series. I'm in the middle of what the book arrangement I'm reading calls the 2nd of the series when in a different way to read it would be the first. So I'm in the middle of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe having already read the Magicians Nephew. It's pretty good but I would say that reading the L, W & W would have been better first.
3. I watched Toy Story 3 with my parents last night. I cried again.
4. Wednesday Kelsey, Ashley, Sarah, Caitlin and I went to Southpark for black light mini golf. We met up with Brenda and Tim there and it was tons of fun. Belting out Bohemian Rhapsody on the car ride there and seeing UFO's on the car ride home made every moment interesting. I also found some shoes for $8. :)
5. I really want a pair of boots but I can never find any that don't look ridiculous, aren't suede and would actually keep your feet warm and dry for a decent price.
6. Is it just me or is the world getting plagued with black fleece North Face jackets? I had been wanting one for awhile but now freaking everyone and their grandma has one so I'm opting for a berry colored hoodie zip up instead.
7. Banana man, lives at Southpark mall's foodcourt. Just a little creepy when a flock of teenage girls want their picture with him.

I watched Bring It On this evening after not seeing it since I was...10? My best Sara and I would deliver newspapers and shout the cheers down the streets as we went. XD goodtimes.

Like It's Dynomite
Ooh damn. I haven't been at this in a week? Damn, that means one week of winter break is already gone.
1. Had spaghetti dinner over Jessie's last Friday after we got off work. Yummmm. I have a serious romantic relationship with spaghetti. Have a Merry Cross-mas.
2. TAB holiday party was last Saturday. Always a good time with cookie decorating, the present swap game, random duct tape this year (even though the sign said "bead craft" but you know, we're a library we need to make ends meet) and just randomly making chaos mostly at the anime/manga club that was with us. I won the bomb! Which ended up being a little Toy Story food container. At least there weren't any nail files ;)
3. Evan and I also hung out on Saturday after the party. We played Pictionary on the Wii which is a hell of a lot more fun than regular Pictionary in my opinion. We ate at Denny's, put Evan's new TV in his room (a whopping 42" HD. it's pretty sweet) and goofed off as usual.
4. Made the Dean's list again this semester. When the time comes that I don't make the Dean's list anymore (hopefully this won't happen) I'm going to be pretty bummed only because I keep impressing myself so I expect to do the same if not better than previous, not worse.
5. Today I realized that my job at the library is just one big party. All of us are constantly goofing off or having random half hour long conversations about someones vacation or their "younger" days. Today we had prime rib, potatoes, corn, salad and tons of desserts for our holiday party. It was damn good too. I freaking love my job.
6. Iced tea is sooooooo much better when mixed with lemonade. Especially if that iced tea is unsweetened.
7. Doing major Christmas shopping with my mom tomorrow. I only have Evan done and I have to do the secret santa person, Evan's parents and his aunt. Luckily I already know what I'm getting everyone so I just have to go out and get it.
8. Went to the Straight No Chaser concert last night with Kelsey, Steph and Brenda. They were freaking amazing! It was so cool to see how they've changed from seeing them at the Stocker center in a small, personal setting to a much larger theater with strobe lights and everything. They're one of the very few performers that are so talented they sound sooo much better in concert than recorded. We met them again after the show like we did last year and once again had a picture of all of them with us on the stairs. We told one of them that we saw them at Lorain County Community College and he just goes "Yeah, that was in Elyria right?" It's like holy crap you guys have done 200 shows since then and you remember where it is and can pronounce it right?? Major kudos.
9. What I love most about winter break: I can sit on my ass watching youtube videos for the last 3 hours and not feel like I should be doing something else. Amazing feeling.

It's 7:55pm in My Zone
1. The internet is "half-working" on my computer again. Some of my files must have been corrupted that need to be fixed because I still can't:
a) Talk on aim/skype
b) Download anything
Hopefully that will be getting fixed soon, even though I'm not sure how my dad got internet explorer to start working again but power to him.
2. IT'S WINTER BREAK BITCHEZZZ! Hallelujah. A whole month to sit on my ass, watch some movies, read some books (I read 5 this week! It feels great to be back) and randomly do whatever without "omg I should be reading this for class" or "holy shit this paper is due tomorrow!?!" No more of that. Until January 10th anyways. :)
3. My co-workers are freaking awesome. Most of them were in the education field so they've been giving me a ton of stories and advice. Maybe after teaching I'll become a librarian <3
4. This time last year I was sitting in Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney. Wonderful memories. Can't wait to go again within the next couple of years. I swear a Ghiridelli milkshake will be in my stomach at some point.
5. My biology professor randomly gave me this nifty little certificate for participating in the campus service learning project in September. It's sooo shinyyyy.
6. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was a really good movie.
7. OMG MORE CHOCOLATE MILK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S SOOOOO CHOCOLATEY!!!!!!!!!!!
8. I don't remember what I was going to put here.
9. I found out Evan bought me two things for Christmas. One is a white gold necklace that has diamonds in the pendant in some "amazingly beautiful" <--Evan's wording, design. Other than that I had no idea he was getting me something else. I have the feeling it's jewelry cleaner, which will be quite handy.
10. I'm soooooooooooo glad Anne won America's Next Top Model. It's about time an awkward nerd girl won. I just freaking love her.
11. Season finale of the Amazing Race on Sunday! Hoping for one of the all girl teams to win since a girl team has never won the finale.
12. Sold my textbooks back today. I only had to sell 2 out of the 4 I bought and with the money coming back I basically had all of my books for this semester for $10. Not bad!
Excited for this weekend! Except for tomorrow, but that may change after work.

Whoops. Airport Rant.
Holy testicle Tuesday it's December. It feels like a week ago I played 3 hours of charades with Evan, Ebert and Michelle on New Years Eve. Five days from now a year ago I was leaving for Disney world feeling like puking from all the Gforces on my first plane ride. While I hate planes I love them. It's so cool to see the world down below. I love airports. When we were in Orlando there was a Borders on our concorse. The freaking airport can have a bookstore but our mall can't... The hustle and bustle of airports is facinating. You have your relaxed business men who do this all the time, you have your disasterous families that are freaking out over everything because "dear, the children are putting boogers on each other again, make them stop" or "dear, we forgot the travel toothpastes. dammit honey why are you so fucking forgetful? why the hell did I marry you!?!" Then you have your happy excited families that are bouncing around saying every two minutes "we're goin to disneyyyy we're goin to disneyyyyy." There's your old ladies, old mennies, the tall cute guy with the guitar or book or headphones on or drawing pad or laptop or chopsticks. There's your questionable possible terrorists, the confused foreigners, the small group of college girls with flash photography, the honeymooners, the poet, the family with 20 kids, the crying babies and the bald guy. All at the airport. All deciding to get to their destination via 40,000 feet above the ground they live on. Around the airport are random shops to get items from the main local attractions just in case you didn't visit them but you can pretend you did. The random cafes, expensive McDonalds/Antie Annes and unaccompanied bags! Okay, I didn't mean for this to turn into an airport rant. Maybe I should write a book for that.
Anyway, ah yes, December. That means the beginning of winter which came this year right on December 1st. What perfect timing. There's snow on the ground and there's rumor that there's more coming. The semester ends next week (oh my fucking god it's about time) so that means my work schedule will go back to normal (finally) and I'll have time to READ! :D

Cecil B. Demented
The only thing I have to worry about tomorrow is the rest of my 1500-2000 word paper (I'm up to 925 and still have a shitload more to talk about so that won't be a problem). Watch the Shawshank Redemption and write a 500 word review on it. (also no problem. Though it will be time consuming to sit through a 2 hr. + movie but hey, I did it for Fight Club this past weekend. Hallelujah I'm running toward the finish line.

Let it Out
1) Had one of the best Thanksgivings this year. Although my aunt would tell you it was the worst but I definitely think it will be very memorable. The turkey just wouldn't cook. I found it hilarious because I don't eat turkey but for once out of my 20 thanksgivings we had ham. It was freaking delicious smokey ham that was OMG amazing.
2) Black friday shopping was very successful this year. Kelsey, Stephanie and I went out to Avon to Kohls, stopping in Old Navy because they were dead (surprisingly) then went to Target which of course was extremely busy. Nothing at Kohls, 2 tanks and penguin boxers for Evan at Old Navy, all three seasons of the Big Bang Theory a dress shirt a jacket and Date Night at Target. The line at Target wrapped around the whole perimeter of the inside. Twice. Surprisingly it only took an hour and 15 minutes to get through but it was worth it for the experience :)
3) I need to get to Crocker Park and Beachwood. They have stuffs I wantt.
4) I want to play mini golf. I didn't get to do that this year. Too bad its like 24 degrees outside with the windchill.
5) Only one more week of classes and one week of finals to go.
6) One of my friends has gotten herself into a huge mess. I really don't know how to react. I mean I'm pretty disappointed in like a caring friend way but I don't want to say that and hurt feelings. She's been through quite a bit lately and I'm there no matter what the outcome. Even though we haven't spoken much recently which is pretty depressing :/ I don't want to lose another friend this year. Not like I'm the one who ended the first one. Don't really know what happened there but whatevs.
7) That was rather suspicious.
8) Room is getting messy again. I really need to do more laundry tomorrow.
9) Crew get togethers are not what they used to be.
10) Seriously dad. You had to leave your mug in my room??

No Regrets. Just Love.
1) I SHOULD be studying for the biology exam tomorrow...but break has come over my head and I haven't done shit when I have a TON of stuff due the next two weeks. That will be fun.
2) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 was absolutely amazing. I swear I will read all of the books and watch all of the movies before part 2 comes out. While I have seen all of the movies, I've only read the 3rd, 4th and 7th books. I'm trying to get all of them in hardback at Half Price Books.
3) Working this past Saturday was odd. It involved a cat on a leash, getting some guys phone number that he put in a book then handed it to me, super long lines, bitching patrons, and getting asked by two people how to spell tequila.
4) I like Glee's version of "Teenage Dream" much better than Katy Perry's.
5) I really want an iPod touch. For random app getting, movie watching on long trips/plane rides and internet browsing anywhere. And of course playing with the touch screen...
6) I'm doing a lot better in my classes then I thought. Let's hope I don't blow it these last few weeks. I'm in the running for a 4.0.
7) Went to the zoo on Sunday. I hadn't been since my birthday. The animals were extremely active and we had a great time. We ate at Red Robin for Evan's aunts birthday. Amazing burger right there.
8) On Sunday we were talking about planning Disney World again. We'll probably end up going to Universal Studios for a day and seeing Cirque de Soliel with Evan's aunt.
9) Straight No Chaser next month :)
10) Get to see the family on Thursday. I can tell I'm an adult now when I'm actually excited to see them even if there is a smoking turkey carcass in the kitchen.
