Went back to school on Thursday. It has a nasty nasal tingling smell. Basically you can tell they used this really strong cleaner on everything to try and cover up the smoke. You can now smell the smoke and extremely strong cleaner. The college has hired impromptu cleaners to help clean everything up. Which is a great idea and it gives people temporary jobs. They get $27 an hour!!! Holy shit!!! I make 1/4th of that an hour! Anywhoo, the only classroom I have that was really affected was my Intro to Early Childhood Education class. I guess they had to replace the ceiling tiles and other stuff.
Also on Thursday, I ran into my first difficult customer at work. This guy walks up to me why I'm putting away books and asks if we have an African American section. Well, we don't. Our AA authors are interfiled with everyone else. So he continues to go on that Lorain has a section and was wondering why we don't have that. Well I obviously cannot change anything, I definitely don't have the authority to do that. So he kept going on about it like it was my fault, picked up one of the AA books on the shelf and was like "well, I bet you don't have that many." How rude! We have TONS! Its not my fault your lazy ass has to find them like everyone else does. Grr.
Today Evan and I are going to Great Northern mall. It's also our 11 month anniversary. I can't believe next month will be a year. :D

Life's Not A Garden So Don't Be A Hoe
Well I have my picture file done, basically. I rushed to Walgreens last night to fill up my ink cartridge and printed them this morning and my dad took them to work to be laminated. I don't understand why my printer doesn't like printing people. Some people came out funky. It's kind of funny.
Two big essays are in my future and due in less then a week and I haven't started either of them. I always hate spring semester because my mind isn't on school, it's on spring and summer fun. I officially made the change in not taking any summer classes. I don't care if it would make me get everything done, I want my freaking summer and that's that.
I have come to the realization that I need to get my license. I only have about a million things to do that need a vehicle for wintertime. The problem: I hate driving. I find it annoying. I mean its alright at times, maybe I'm just too self conscious but I just hate having to pay attention to every little thing. Especially all the stupid people who run out in the middle of the road or slam their brakes on for no reason. Mostly the people who are in the biggest rush and are on your tail-end when you're going the speed limit. Even a little over. Idiots.
I'm off to work for the next 3 days. At least I get this weekend off. Sunday will be hell because I'll be working on those essays. The english one shouldn't be that bad but the civilization one will be horrible. I hate history.
Back to school tomorrow. Now that it's been gone for over a week I don't want it to come back. I used to love school now it's just boring as hell and buttfuck expensive.

Procrastination...Will Nip Me In The Ass
I'm feeling funky so I'm typing in GREEN!!!!! Like holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *ahem* I'm a tad hyper.
Anywhoo, I have about 1,456,873,746,000,000 things I need to get done this week. Well, more like 5, but you get it. I have a English paper to do, a civilization test to take, sociology tests to take, early childhood education picture files to laminate, and print, and attach to construction paper that needs to be bought. This better get an extension because the college doesn't open back up until Thursday and where else am I supposed to laminate 20 sheets of paper? So fuck.

Dream Believer

So I've had two nights of dreaming about tornadoes. It's getting on my nerves. Ever since Sara and I saw the one that hit two years ago, I've had pretty frequent dreams about them. They're always coming toward me but never hit me or do any damage to the shelter I'm in. The dream dictionary says Tornado is a violent storm in nature, and it may represent violent emotional storms in your dreams. If you have reoccurring tornado dreams consider the emotional changes in your life and also the amount of anger and rage that you may be currently experiencing. Tornadoes could also represent disruptions and upsets in you immediate environment and specific or current issues that may be overwhelming. I don't have any anger or rage. At least not that I know of. I also don't know about emotional changes. Usually in my dreams I feel scared and I'm always running away from the tornado because it's after me. I take shelter somewhere and the tornado passes me and the shelter leaving us unharmed. Grr.

Valentines Day 09
I had a great time with Evan today. First we watched the Emperors New Groove, which I have never seen but now I have! Then we made some spaghetti for dinner. Which I don't know what it is about our spaghetti that makes it so amazing. It just is. He bought me some chocolate covered strawberries <3 and we played video games and just had a good time.
The Story of Psyche and Eros (Cupid)-which will be very brief because I don't feel like typing the whole thing out.
There was a peasant girl named Psyche who was worshiped by her town as the Goddess of Beauty. This title really belonged to Aphrodite and she grew very jealous and sent her son Eros down to earth to put a potion on her that will make her fall in love with a hideous monster. Once Eros saw her he was stricken by her beauty and then pricked her and him with one of his arrows.
A few years went by and Psyche could not find a husband so she went to the Oracle to see what the hell was going on. The Oracle told her she was doomed to marry a monster who lived on a mountain. Psyche, accepting her doom, waited at the bottom of the mountain on a rock to be taken to the top. She was swooped up by a cloud and lifted to a beautiful house. She was then wed to a husband she was sworn never to see. Her husband was Eros himself. He was very kind and generous to her but her curiosity grew and she wanted to see him. One night while he was sleeping she went into his room with a candle. Once she saw who he was she sort of freaked and spilled candle wax on him. This, waking him up, made him fly out the window. The beautiful house then disappeared and Psyche was left alone. Once Aphrodite found out she had been betrayed, she banished Psyche to do difficult tasks.
The first task was to take a large pile of different grains and sort them into individual piles, granule by granule. Eros flew down and helped Psyche with her task.
The second was to get golden fleece from a special herd of sheep. The river god advised her when to do this.
The third task is to retrieve a vial of water from the River Styx (hell) and a box of magic makeup from Persephone (Hades wife) which she cannot open. Psyche knew she obviously couldn't do this as a mortal. The only way she would be able to do that was to kill herself. Just as she is about to jump off a tower the tower tells her a way to get to the underworld and back without having to die. She goes and retrieves the items and makes it back to earth. Curiosity once again makes Psyche open the box and is placed into a great sleep. Eros awakens her from her sleep and goes to Zeus to help him be with her. Zeus gives Psyche Ambrosia which makes her immortal. Eros took Psyche in his arms and has never let her go.
Well, the reason for this story is because this is how Evan and I met. We we're paired to do a project on this story out of random selection by Mrs. Horton, our Myths and Legends teacher. If we were never paired to do this story of love we probably never would have spoken. Since today is the day of honor for Cupid (well now its St. Valentine but whatever) I decided to put this story on here since it is very important to me. Even though it sounds like a combination of many Disney movies.
Happy Valentines Day!

Losing Your Virginity.....
Currently Reading: The Time Traveler's Wife (I'll probably be reading this for the next couple of months, I hardly get time to read anything I want to.)
Currently Listening to: "Now You Know" Hilary Duff
Ha, made you practically piss yourself. (NOTE I didn't lose my virginity. It is still in tact and will be for several more years.)
Nothing spectacular has happened. Although I was one of the very very very few to get a 100% on my music exam. :D I seriously almost pissed myself. I mean I thought I did good but I didn't think I did that good. I'm not complaining. Hmmm...yeah. I've got nothing else.

Thoughts of a Young Woman

This weekend has been uneventful. I worked Saturday and Sunday but I had today and have tomorrow off. Yay! Except for the fact I have school tomorrow but that's ok. I actually don't dread going to my classes. I find them very fun and interesting. But not the online ones. Boring as hell. I'm going to do all of my classes in-class for fall semester. I'm still not sure if I want to do a few summer ones or not. If I don't do summer ones it will take me a little longer than four years to get my degree, which doesn't bother me. I'm not in a rush to end my schooling yet and my job at the library is pretty steady. If I stay there 5 years I get a lapel pin that says 5 years on it :D. NERD!!!
Today I hung out with Sara most of the day. FINALLY. It feels like I hardly see her with our conflicting schedules and whatnot. Then again I hardly see anyone. I hardly see Evan once a week. We went shopping which I loved because I hardly get to go shopping anymore too. I bought some scrapbooking stuff so I could finally do my prom and graduation pages. If my scanner was big enough I would post them when they were finished but unfortunately I can't do that. It would be nice to have a back-up digital scrapbook. Big nerd, I know. It really is an expensive hobby. If you ever start expect to pay at least $20 per page. Michaels rejected items will become your best friend. Along with other craft doodads. I love the hobby. It gives me my art fix for awhile and it creates something that I'll want to remember when I'm old and lose bowel control. Hopefully that won't happen.
Another thing Sara and I did was look for things for her cousin's wedding. I find this insane that we just graduated and people are getting married. A lot of people from our class are also pregnant or drinking. WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE!?!?!?! Does everyone have the need to "look" adultlike? This drives me insane and I cannot fathom why people who went away to college are suddenly doing this. Like Eckhart. He joined a fraternity and gets drunk off his ass. I never would have expected that from him. Does nobody have any self control anymore? I'm sure people who stuck around Elyria have started doing this too. So is it just a "I'm out of high school so I'll be taken seriously" complex? GAH!!! I need to stop venting. It's not making my headache any better.

There Are Two People In A Photograph: The Photographer and the Viewer
Currently Reading: The Time Traveler's Wife (page 184)
Currently Listening To: "With You" Jessica Simpson (oh god, just shut up!)
When was the last time I posted one of these? I don't know. Since then nothing has changed, as usual.
Today Evan and I went to the mall because this morning when I checked Best Buy's website they said they had the camera I want at our store. So Evan was hungry, I could use some food and I wanted to buy that camera! We walked all the way there from his house, which took about 45 minutes, and stopped at Target along the way to rest our soaked feet. I bought my camera and two 4 gigabyte memory cards that were marked down to $13. Now mind you that my old memory card, which to too small to be compatible with my new camera, is 256 megabytes and was $35 at its time of purchase over 3 years ago...things definitely change. So now I has my camera a 10megapixel 5x zoom black Nikon Coolpix. :D Yay! And enough space on memory cards for nearly 3,000 pictures. I think I'll be good for awhile.
Evan's parents, Evan and I started planning Kentucky. We're going May 22nd-24th which is right before Mammoth Cave starts to get swamped. I'm pretty excited to finally go somewhere more southern than Dayton. Even though it isn't for that long we're still going to have tons of funs.

F.E.A.R. Flying Erasers Aren't Rice-a-Roni
Currently Reading: The Time Traveler's Wife (page 151)
Currently Listening To: "Jaded" Aerosmith
I did not have school or work today. Which happens sometimes but I would like it to happen more often. I basically got to laze around all day. Although I did catch up on some work that I've needed to do, I still have a long way to go. I finished all of my Child Development for this week. Which will be nice not to have to worry about for the weekend. Most of the grades are starting to get posted. :D So far all A's. But its been what? Two weeks? Things will change. But hopefully not.
Random thought: Damn! This bra is soft!
This is probably the dumbest thing but I feel it was an accomplishment in my becoming an adult. I ordered my very first pizza and paid for it with my own money! I feel kickass! It's been yummy. I've had three slices. Mmmm....
Wow, its February already. Which I don't mind. It just gets me closer to all of the exciting things coming up in the year. And next month, when I get to see my loves again! I need some girl time already. And Kali's staying the night. Did you read that Kayes? You're staying the night. :D
Eh blah. I don't think I have anything else to ramble about.
