Oy

That awkward moment when another ex tries to add you on facebook...seriously people. No hard feelings at all but we haven't spoken in how many years?

Get Ready to Drop A Load, of Love

While cleaning, I found a folder that I carried around my first semester of college. In it, I found one of the only handwritten notes from Evan I've received. It's contents, made me start tearing up just now.

"Kelly Michelle Kreutzke
I love you. I've been falling for you since we've started talking and now look at us, almost 5 months past our amazing day of March 31st when I decided that you were worth everything and anything and more than anything else ever had to me. So my nervousness led me to do it anyways, your 'yes' was the happiest, well one of the most happy moments in my life, and I'm sure, hey, I know that there will be more happy moments. I still think of us in our old age in our dream house, we've been all the places we wanted to, in our swing, me holding you, kissing you like we never got older. Oh, Kelly, you're the most important thing in my entire life. You're my whole world.
<3 Evan"

Now, we had just had our 5 month anniversary when this was written. For then, this seems a little extreme. But now, when we'll be celebrating 4 years next month is an amazing thing to come across. Thinking of everything that we've experienced and changed in the past 3 and a half years from when this note was written is astonishing. I've learned what love is. It truely is something that cannot be described, but when it happens, you know. Maybe not right away but once it's figured out it's one of those 'holy fucking shit' moments.

"My Brother Eats Dog Food"

Oy! I will survive February.

1. My placement is going great. I teach my first lesson next Wednesday and I'm pretty excited about it. Today we celebrated 100 Days of School, which is something I definitely don't remember doing when I was in elementary school. But it was a great time. I'm learning how to create smartboard stuff which is pretty epic. Hopefully the kids think so too.

2. Classes are going well. Lots of work to be done but I've managed to keep on top of everything somehow and read a lot of books that I've been wanting to. Unfortunately the list is never ending. I think I finally found my all time favorite book, "The Tale of Despereaux". I'm not sure if it's because I read it after "The Bell Jar" so anything was a relief of the depression but I just love this book. I'm afraid to watch the movie though because I heard it's different and I don't want to ruin the magic of the pages.

3. Having my weekends free is FUCKING FANTASTIC. I'm surprised I hardly even notice I'm not going to work anymore. I'm a lot more careful with my money as well because I have a lot that will hopefully be happening this summer.

4. My room is slowly getting thoroughly cleaned. I realized that this is probably my last full year living at home so the more I get it clean now, the easier it will be when the moving out process happens. What a terrifying/glorious thought.

5. I cannot wait for it to be spring even though this winter has been freakishly awesome. The major lack of snow and the "let's stay in the 40's most of the time" idea is really working for me.

6. I was invited to join Kappa Delta Pi, the honors society for Education majors. I'm almost finished with the application process. Here's hoping I made it!

Shiiiit

Praxis scores come out Tuesday. I bet you anything I failed because the scores are released in February and February is never a good month for me.
