1. Ironically the next day after my last post I received my letter from Ashland that I've been accepted. Megan also received hers and we found out our friend Meghan will also be graduating with us in spring of 2013!
2. My dad got their taxes done (his and my moms, not mine because the guy wants $25 for mine and that's more than I would get back, sooooo no thanks Sparky) and we'll be getting $2400 to put back in my college fund. This will be really helpful although it won't cover half of a semester of Ashland tuition but it's a lot better than nothing.
3. So two people I knew passed away yesterday. This brings my death tole of people I know to 7 in just this year. THIS YEAR. It's been a little over 2 months. Five of them have just been these past two weeks which is kind of freaking me out.
4. I should be doing homework. Or cleaning. I am doing neither.
5. Maybe I will start cleaning...after I read a little bit. And watch Big Bang Theory.
6. Tuesday was a very good day. Not only did I receive my letter but the ECE club went to the Providence House in Cleveland to hand in our collective donations from the drive we did last month and take a tour. It was some feel good emotions. :)

Aardvarks. How Climactical.
1. Awaiting the Ashland letter. I just want it already so I can go buy a damn hoodie XD
2. I'm amazed at how amazing this past weekend was. Friday I used a personal day for work and my mom and I went out to the Lodi Outlets and Avon Commons for the day. The weather was pretty cold and rainy but there was hardly anyone at the outlets so we didn't have to fight crowds. Almost the whole time we would be the only two people in a store. T'was pretty epic :)
Saturday I got to laze around. In the evening I went out with the family to Chili's. Dinner was delicious and we went to Half Price Books afterward. My dad and my grandma had never been to hbp (makes more sense for my dad, he's not a shopper) but we spent well over an hour in there. What does my grandma buy? A cookbook, bookmarks & a slinky...
Sunday Kelsey and I turned her basement in to a dancefloor and played Just Dance on the Wii. I love that game! I suddenly want a Wii just so I can play it :P It was pretty hilarious with lots of arm flailing. I'm really surprised I wasn't sore in the shoulders today. After that we picked up her brother & his friend from a movie (that was one interesting car ride) and we went shopping at Southpark mall. Good day<33
3. 299 days til Walt Disney World & HOPEFULLY Universal Orlando.
4. I finished the first Harry Potter. Yeah, yeah it took me long enough. I was amazed at how different it was from the movie which makes me really excited to read the others. I'm anxiously awaiting the chamber of secrets to come from barnes&noble this week. The funny thing is even though I've only (now) completely read the 1st, 3rd, 4th & 7th, I've read over half of all the others I just never finished them. Of course when I was reading them it was junior high and freshman year when I had the attention span of a gnat if that explains anything.
5. Roadtripping to Ashland University with Megan this summer! Megan is Evan's cousin but we're both in Early Childhood Education, both awaiting our letters from Ashland, both will be taking the exact same courses at the exact same times for the next two years, both will have the same degree with the endorsements, both are in student teaching and both will graduate at the exact same time. We've really bonded this past year when last spring semester Evan's aunt noticed we were both in the same Child Guidance and Classroom Management class. Since then we've talked about everything and started the ECE club together. Which we're both founder & presidents of. I still find it hilarious that she just happens to be Evan's cousin.
6. I need to clean my room. I know, I say this all the time so you're probably just "whatever, that won't happen!" -ing right now. As far as I know I'm not doing much Thursday after work so hopefully I'll work on it then.
7. Zits (on your face, not the comic which is way more entertaining than what is on your face) are annoying.
8. Sudden obsession with Sunkist Solar Fusion!!!
9. So while I'm waiting for Chamber of Secrets to arrive (along with Beastly, but that's a different story -.-) I've gotten around to reading "The Last Song" by Nicholas Sparks. It's really good so far. I'm hoping to finish it before friday which will be a feat since I'm still busy this week and the book is almost 500 pages and I'm currently sitting at about page 126.

Pretty Picture
I must post these because they are just amazing.
These are "Disney Dream Portraits" by Annie Leibovitz. These are the best things I came across since I was introduced to Salvador Dali back in high school.

There are a few others but blogger is stupid and won't let me upload anymore pictures in this post. Enjoy!

And an Onion Log...To Split
1. Hallelujah it's March! January and February are always the worst months of my year for some reason. I think it's because of the weather. Sure, winter is okay and all but never underestimate how nice not having to lug around a coat is. Especially when you're wearing it inside everywhere and you go to use a public bathroom. It is the biggest pain in the ass to wash your hands with a coat on.
2. I've been having the strangest craving for sugary things the past couple days.
3. Student teaching is still going extremely well. The kids are amazing. I know I definitely picked the right field. Half of my lesson plans are typed and I've taught 2 out of the 8. I've done 3 out of 5 circle times. I'm on a roll!
4. My uncles mother (not my grandma) passed away a few days ago. I've known her since my aunt and uncle got married in 1997. She lived in Niles with the rest of my uncles family which is pretty much like an Elyria on the far east of Ohio. I had been over her house once which from what I remember was very cluttered. I liked to play with her piano. I'm pretty bummed she's gone even though I only saw her a couple of times a year. RIP Sort-of-Grandma Smith<3
5. As of 3:30pm today, I'm on spring break time. Although I have big projects to think about and start working on.
6. I started reading the first Harry Potter today. Not only do I have to read it for Children's Literature but I had planned on reading all of the books before the 2nd part of the last movie came out. I had originally planned that Evan and I were going to see the midnight showing of HP7pt.2 but I will be in New York for that release now :/ Luckily he's willing to wait a few weeks so he can see it with me.
7. My dad just knocked on my door to tell me that EMH is on facebook...he's amazed.
8. Out shopping with my mom tomorrow. I love having mother-daughter bonding time.
9. The politicians of the American government sadden me.
10. I've heard "Born this Way" twice and it's been stuck in my head the last four days.
11. We've been doing geometry in math. Life is good again.

Drowsy
Evan and I had a pretty serious conversation about friendship tonight which was very different from our normal "how was your day? eat anything good?" We talk about food way too much.
Anyway, the friendship topic was brought up because my longest time best friend just posted on facebook she's engaged. Now I'm not really sure if it's true or not because a lot of people will randomly put they're engaged for no apparent reason but if it is true, what happened to at least calling people instead of just posting it on facebook? Is that what society has come to? If you don't have a facebook apparently you don't get to find out about anything. This is the one reason why I have contemplated deleting facebook so many times.
So bringing this up to Evan made us start talking about friendships we have lost in our lives. It made me realize that while I love my friends, how many of them do I really get involved with? I never talk with them on the phone, sure there's occasional texts but what has happened to real interaction? Everyone else always has someone else in the group they can talk about life with and I really don't. There isn't someone who I could just talk on the phone to for hours. I don't have anyone I'm CLOSE to. I never really thought about this that much but talking with Evan about it made me think. I'm not really sure what to do. Is it my fault I never initiated a phone call to see how someones day went but instead I just find out through statuses. Is that just the way the world is now where the real friendships that I once had are lost in the interwebs? Or am I just "acceptable" and not "initiated". Maybe sleep will help clear my mind.

BEEF!
1) Somehow myself and my 2 cousins whom I've never met have been thrown into planning our first ever family vacation. This will be interesting XD
2) Guess who's procrastinating right now? Bingo.
3) Maybe I'll clean my room...at least I would be doing something instead of nothing-ish.
4) I want to go to the beach. I don't remember the last time I was there. While it's cool today it's still so sunny!
5) Operation: Kelly Drives will be underway very soon. Be afraid, but happy at the same time. I'm not that bad of a driver. I just don't have any highway driving experience/big city experience and only minor congested street experience. Oh and the whole maneuverability thing. I must have my license by August. It will make my life a whole hell of a lot easier and just a little more expensive.
6) I'm sooooo tireddddddd.
7) Okay, so part of my job is to turn the lights off in the bathrooms. To do so we knock on the door and ask if anyone's in there before we fly the door open and waltz on into the bathroom. So I knocked and asked if anyone was in the mens bathroom today and didn't get a response. Figuring there was nobody in there I fly the door open and *BAM* nasty old guy standing at a urinal looking at me. At least I didn't see anything but still! Why would you not tell someone you're in the fucking bathroom?? Nasty. So now I don't like having to close up the bathrooms.
8) But why is the rum gone???
9) So the black cherry lime vitamin water that was made by facebook fans is amazing. Great job facebook people.
10) Eat steak, eat steak, eat a big 'ol steer. Eat steak, eat steak, mmmm mmmm mmmm. Beef. Beef. Beef.

Magic Magic Magic
1) Ashland application is all done, they're just waiting on my high school transcript to prove I'm not in high school and have my ACT scores on it so I don't have to worry about any testing. Thank god I got a 21 which was the bare minimum for Ashland. Woohoo!
2) My "life plan" for Ashland has been made. I get to take Ohio History through LCCC this summer (yeah...I won't have free summers anymore but luckily this is only one and it's online! :D) I'll have the Early Childhood Education Bachelor's (which covers Pre-K through 3rd grade) the 4/5 endorsement (which will allow me to cover Pre-K through 5th grade) and the reading endorsement.
3) We're in the field every semester. So not only will I be hacking at 18 credit hours, 5 classes and work 20 hours a week I will also have anywhere from 50 hours to 150 hours per semester at a school. HOLY SHIT. People go through hell to become teachers.
4) My student teaching started Monday. I'm in the LCCC Children's Learning Center Monday-Wednesday from 8:30am-12:30pm. I freaking love it. The kids are so awesome. I've only been there two days and I've already received tons of hugs. It's amazing how accepting children are of everyone. They just accept you and love you for who you are. Why can't everyone be more like children?
5) This year is going to be HELL. I'm already sensing it. I'm constantly just going going going 13 hours of the day. I really don't even have time to eat so I'm chugging water like crazy.
6) My sleeping schedule from now until finals week will be 11pm-7am. It's actually the perfect amount of time for me. I was surprised how much I don't have a problem with getting up at 7am.
7) I stopped at the grad fair on campus today. They're all "Are you graduating this spring? Congratulations! Have a bottle cozy!" How come I didn't get so many congrats and random free things for graduating high school? I thought that was very interesting. I met a guy who's really active in community service for LCCC and we just randomly started talking about farmville. FARMVILLE! Seriously?? I think that's going to make me laugh for awhile.
8) 320 days til Walt Disney World.
9) My online class Social Issues in Education just started yesterday. My cooperating teacher for student teaching, is a fellow classmate to me in this class.
10) OMG I WANT MORE WATER!

Oooh Narwhal
Oh geeze. I haven't been on here for awhile. Haven't had the time! Well right now I kind of have the time since I'm skipping math. Believe it or not, I'm not skipping math on purpose. I had a meeting with my cooperating teacher about doing stuff with the center for the week of the young child in April and talking about next week and stuff. Ooh yeah, you probably don't know I start in my classroom on Valentine's day did you blog reader? Well I do! :)
Anyway this week has been pretty crazy. I'm expecting every week from here on out to be crazy until summer comes around. I'll probably have to take one damn summer class but that shouldn't be a big deal.
I'm all set to graduate with my AA (not alcoholics anonymous...) in May. I just have to turn in cap/gown sizes and whatnot to the bookstore and go to the graduation fair next week so I can close my community college days.
Waiting for my high school transcript to be sent to Ashland. Do they put your ACT scores on those things? If they don't I'm screwed on giving them my test results.
This is what senior year felt like. All over again. Minus Key Club drama. Now it's just Student Life drama. I'm not as mad at them anymore since we took care of somethings. They need to hitch up their big person panties and deal. Kumquats.
Disney will probably be January 1st-8th. That will be a great way to start off 2012. 2011 has been okay so far, if you get past the whole never having time to do anything thing. Hopefully it will pick up soon.
I'm thinking about running a 5K. I'm a horrible runner and it would be a very good thing to be good at. I need to build up those survival instincts!
Eww, I just got a telemarketer call my cell phone. LAME.
OMG I'm hungry. Why did I have to spend my money at that passion/lemonade tea at Starbucks? I'm stuck here til freakin' 6 and it's only pushing 2 now. I could have had a slice of pizza or something. Sometimes I need to make better decisions.
So I had lost the necklace Evan had bought me for Christmas. It had been missing since last Thursday but I didn't realize it was gone til Tuesday. So does that mean it's technically been missing since Tuesday? Anyway, I had looked EVERYWHERE for the necklace and I was really depressed that I had lost it. Last night I was printing stuff for my portfolio and BAM! the printer is jammed and here comes my necklace sliding down the paper. I put things in the strangest places.

Here's Some Haikus
I need to scream loud.
I want to punch you in face.
You kinky haired bitch.
Student Life is stupid.
They don't fucking care about clubs.
They lose your fucking shit.
You can't tell me ho,
We can't have co-presidents
Go suck a fat dick.
Okay, I feel a little better now.

Get Along Little Doggies
Oh shit it's February. What the hell time??
In the middle of collecting everything I need for my Ashland application.
Actual application form- tomorrow
Official college transcript-check
Official high school transcript-was supposed to do that today but weather happened so I'll have to do that next week.
Two letters of character-check
Copies of FBI and BCI checks-copy of FBI, waiting for new BCI to come in. Don't even get me started.
So this is almost ready to go :)
Filling out my petition for graduation for my associate of arts tomorrow & visiting a Miss Kelsey Veliconia while I'm at it.
It feels like senior year trying to get everything set up for the fall and graduation and everything XD
