Let You Blow My Mind

I really need to stop not paying attention to this thing this month because when I finally do realize I need to blog, I have about 10 million different things to say. Let's start with where we left off...if I can remember that.

Last Monday Kelsey, Stephanie and I went to the Indians home opener game against the Texas Rangers. We lost but we still had a great time. We were up at the extreme top where it's freakishly steep and feels like you're going to roll all the way down onto the field. It reminds me of cheerios in a bowl how the last ones just cling onto the side. Anyway, the steep seats came with unlimited hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, peanuts and nachos so we had a mini feast. Also through some hunting and jogging and turbo walking I was able to get my hands on one of the last available home opener pins. We had to go all the way to the bottom level exact opposite of the stadium to get it. As soon as I found it an old guy came up behind me saying he had been following us since the very top because he was hunting one down too. XD

The rest of the week was filled with work, homework and classes. Friday after work Sara and I watched "The Blind Side." It was an amazing movie. Go see it now. Afterward we went to Dave and Busters and had dinner and played games for about four hours. I now have over 3,000 tickets but have no idea what to spend them on, so I just keep saving them up.

Saturday morning there was a TAB meeting, which was strange because I now work at the same library we have the meetings and they're before the library opens. Afterward my mom and I got Arby's for lunch and went to Target. Around 2 Stephanie, her cousin Amber, Meranda, Kelsey and I went out for a day of shopping. We hung around the North Olmstead area and had some food and whatnot. We also ventured over to the Goodwill. I found some amazing pants that fit perfect, except for the fact they were in regular and not short. Damn my 2 inch shorter legs, you're ruining my pants experiences. Afterward Steph, Kelsey and I went back to Stephs and watched the movie "Valentine's Day." It was actually really cute. Reminded me a lot of "He's Just Not That Into You" because it was packed with celebrities and tangled storylines.

Yesterday Evan and I hung out for the day. We played Uno Spin which is a really fun way to play Uno. We watched some TV and had delicious steak and potatoes for dinner.

This week will be filled with some school stuff, but not as much because this week is surprisingly light. I only work 3 days because I put in a personal day for the weekend so I get friday-sunday off. I'll probably spend my free time straightening my room so it will be clean when I hopefully get my laptop back this week.

Boing.

Wow, so I really suck on this whole blogging thing this month. Let's see...been super busy with school stuff, last month of the semester makes everything crazy. I had a huge math test that I wasn't prepared for and somehow managed a 79%. It knocked my grade down to a B so now I either have to do extremely well on the next test and the final or just accept that fact that I'll have one B in a field of A's this semester. Meh, we'll see how I do on the material. Anyways, math driving me insane and rushing to prepare everything for my health, safety and nutrition clincial next week. This one is actually different because we get to teach with a partner so its feeling a lot less stressful. We have a kickass lesson too :)

Scheduling for fall semester was also this week. I'm taking only 4 classes because those are pretty much the last ones I need before I start the partnership. I'm taking General Biology (for my lab science), music appreciation, film appreciation (for humanities) and math for elementary school teachers I. Next spring I'll take math for elementary school teachers II and student teaching along with an ashland course or two.

Found out today we're not going to Gettysburg. Instead we're going to Pittsburgh to see the zoo (they have like 3 different kinds of penguins, i'm pumped!!) and stay there and go to the Detroit zoo, which should be interesting because they're in opposite directions. We're not going because apparently EHS's graduation is the weekend we were planning on going and Michelle obviously would want to see her boyfriend graduate but she also really wanted to to go Gettysburg, so we're just going some other time. Now maybe Abraham Lincoln can stop invading my dreams.

For the Colony, and Opressed Ants Everywhere!

Geeze, I don't even remember where I left off with this thing the last time. Ummm....well on Wednesday Evan and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. I had requested the day off before so when I got out of class Evan and his mom picked me up and we had a delicious dinner at Olive Garden. I was long overdue for Olive Garden since I hadn't had it since August. Afterward we just kind of hung out. Work kept me busy on Thursday and Friday I was finally able to relax. I went to the Moose Lodge with my parents and grandma for dinner. They had fish and I had chicken paprikash. Theirs was very bland, I wasn't impressed. Afterward I worked at the New Moon party at the library from 8 til midnight. I pretty much handed teens a ticket, made sure they didn't get rowdy and watched the movie. Meh, once again not that impressed but that's how I feel about the books too. I like the story line enough to buy the movie eventually. Edward still pisses me off. Why the hell did he leave in the first place? Ugh.

Saturday Steph, Kelsey, Meranda and I attempted to have a nice picnic by the beach. We ended up getting attacked by the wind. It was interesting. After staying at the beach for about an hour and being blown around the pier we went to the mystery park across from Finwood Estate. Theres a little bridge and a waterfall. We followed a little random path that follows the river for a little bit, the water was actually clear. We may have to go back and explore some more when it isn't so gloomy and Charlie isn't looming behind us. Afterward we hung out at McDonalds and got hot fudge sundaes. Yum :)

Apparently today was Easter. I hardly notice anymore since we don't get the week off afterward. I went to Evans and we had delicious steak and potatoes. I also have finally had red velvet cake (the color is so mesmerizing) and tried chocolate covered bacon which wasn't that special because the flavors don't blend, you just taste bacon and chocolate together. We also played rummy and had a 2 hour battle to the death game of uno which I surprisingly won. We watch A Bugs Life too which I was happy about. I hadn't seen that movie in FOREVER.

In the mean time I'm preparing myself for another hellish week. Hopefully won't be as bad as last week but who knows with the killer math test coming up on Wednesday. I need this semester to end!!! Luckily it's only a month away.

Here It Goes

I'm completely out of it now. Today has been such a long day. This morning I had to wake up early to go to my last observation from 9:30am-noon, rush home to eat and change and make it to class from 1pm-3:30pm, class included a 50 minute gym session where we lifted weights. Then I had a half an hour between class and work at 4-7. Needless to say I didn't have enough time to even eat today so I had a massive headache that turned into a migrane over the day. It's still not gone now and I'm still out of it. I left work early at 6 because I couldn't take it anymore, I knew if I didn't get home and have food and rest I would pass out. Well my dad and I got subway but I still haven't been able to do the whole resting thing. I had to type up my observation and work on some math homework so I had less to worry about tomorrow after dinner with Evan. Ugh. It's only 8:40 and I'm gonna go leap in the shower and then go to bed since I have to be up at 6:20 am tomorrow. This week is so exhausting, I'm so glad I'm off this weekend (the entire weekend, well I work 8-midnight friday but that doesn't count because I'm going to be watching a movie and yelling at unruly teenagers XD). Haha I can hardly type too. My observation took forever to type because I kept making several mistakes. I even mistyped my name about 10 times. Kreautzki is apparently my last name, according to myself. Time for bed! This makes me glad I don't do drugs.

Poke Her Face.

This past week has been pretty uneventful. One of my classes ended before spring break so now I don't have classes on Thursday and only have one class at one on Tuesday. The break is nice, especially now that my other classes are picking up on having assignments due. I have my last observation on Tuesday morning. Yay! I'm looking forward to the student teaching, it's just these boring observations I don't like. Most of the time you don't really get to interact with the kids you're just sitting in the back of the classroom watching everything. For 2 1/2 hours it's really dull. Bleh.

So Evan's cousin Megan and I are the same major and we found out that LCCC used to have a really good club for the Early Childhood Education students. We decided to team up and try and get that back on track again. I'm pretty excited about it. We'll be selling tshirts in the school store like the nursing students get to have and all that jazz. We'll help out at FamilyFest in the fall and other activities that the school does. Pretty much we'll be doing community service projects that help children from birth to age 5, since that's what we're covering in our classes.

Evan and I celebrate our two year anniversary on Wednesday. We're going to Olive Garden for dinner which I'm super excited about. I haven't had Olive Garden since August.

It's Not Slime! It's Mucus!

I'm surprisingly in a great mood today. Even though I work this weekend on a very nice day and I go back to school the day after tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to class, I missed having stuff that I needed to get done. Which reminds me of some a certain picture file I need to put together for Wednesday and some math homework due Monday night I didn't get around to...

As spring breaks go this one was pretty much like all the others. I don't go anywhere or do much of anything so I can't say I was disappointed in it. It was pretty much just what it was...a break. A much needed break and that made it good.

I have a little less then 2.5 hours of work left. There isn't much of anything to get done because none of the carts are really filling up, mostly just putting stuff in boxes to be sent to other libraries is what I have to do. We're swamped upstairs because of the free taxman being here. Luckily they don't make a complete mess of the place, they just sit there and read a book they brought with them until it's their turn. I'm excited to be going to Sonic later today. I love their slushies. They need to get one in Elyria so I can have them whenever I please. But knowing Elyria and everything closing in it, that won't be happening.

Some Spring Break...

Will the both of you just talk to each other? Please? This whole thing was just a miscommunication. Nothing was intended so lets all try and be a little understanding? Please!!! For the sake of yourselves and all of your friends who love you :)

Banana's In Pajamas

Is it a bad thing when you're going over your boyfriends house to hang out with his mom and not him? See it was just my luck that the new pokemon games come out tomorrow which was the only day of the weekend I had available to hang out with Evan and of course he's had plans the past year to play this game tomorrow. So his mom found out I wasn't coming over and said that she wanted me to and me and her can play games and watch movies and read and whatnot.

Pittsburgh Friday!! I don't know what I'm going to take for our picnic lunch :/ Must think!!

It feels so weird not having to go to class this week. I keep thinking, ugh I have to get up monday morning...wait! no i don't!!! Just work 12-4:30.

It Reminds Me of Raw Meat

Things have surprisingly gone really well this week. I had a math test on Monday that I found out today I got a 100 on. I knew I probably did pretty well but I wasn't expecting that. Also since spring break is next week (finally) all of my professors are adding up their grades and posting them so far. My lowest grade is like a 95.6%. Woot!

So spring break won't be anything special. Lucky me I work every fucking day at the most annoying times in the world. I work 4-7 three days in a row. I hate that shift. I even told them to please stop giving me three hour days because I don't like them, they're a waste of time, but nobody listens. Oooh and another lucky me, I work the last weekend of my spring break and the following saturday which isn't supposed to happen. But it happens to me, always. Yay for being the college student with the funky ass schedule. Grr. The only day I'm looking forward to is next Friday when we go to Pittsburgh. I need to go somewhere, hell even just going into Cleveland makes me happy. I have simple thrills XD

Walk Walk Fashion Baby

So I worked last weekend, so that wasn't anything super exciting. On Tuesday I did my clinical for Child Guidance and Classroom Management. It went really well, all 100's :) I did a intro lesson for preschoolers on basic needs, I aided my lesson by using a book that had penguins in it so even I was excited about the whole thing! So yeah that went well. Umm what else went down....Wednesday Kelsey, Meranda, Steph and I went to Steph's moms work at Caribou and hung out some then went to the metroparks and walked around, goofed off and watched planes take off. Thursday Steph and I went to Jim's Coffeehouse downtown to see open mic night. JAM PACKED. There was not one inch of space that wasn't taken up by anyone. Luckily and surprisingly Evan's aunt was there and there happened to be two open seats at her table XD

Friday after work Sara and I met up with Katy and one of her friends at Dave and Busters for Sara's birthday. OMG this place is epic. I'm addicted to a basketball game where you fling tokens to win tickets. I won 1,066 and I saved them on my D&B card for when I go the next time. Awesome time. I'm glad Sara had a good birthday compared to her last one.

Today I finally got to hang out with Evan. We really hadn't seen each other since Valentines Day because him and his family had been sick and I can't afford to get sick. We watched some Who's Line, a weird show called 1,000 Ways to Die and finally built the Millenium Falcon he bought at the lego store in Downtown Disney. It took us about two hours but it looks awesome, it made me wish I bought something to build while we were down there but oh wells.

Going shopping with my mom tomorrow! :)
