Here It Goes

I'm completely out of it now. Today has been such a long day. This morning I had to wake up early to go to my last observation from 9:30am-noon, rush home to eat and change and make it to class from 1pm-3:30pm, class included a 50 minute gym session where we lifted weights. Then I had a half an hour between class and work at 4-7. Needless to say I didn't have enough time to even eat today so I had a massive headache that turned into a migrane over the day. It's still not gone now and I'm still out of it. I left work early at 6 because I couldn't take it anymore, I knew if I didn't get home and have food and rest I would pass out. Well my dad and I got subway but I still haven't been able to do the whole resting thing. I had to type up my observation and work on some math homework so I had less to worry about tomorrow after dinner with Evan. Ugh. It's only 8:40 and I'm gonna go leap in the shower and then go to bed since I have to be up at 6:20 am tomorrow. This week is so exhausting, I'm so glad I'm off this weekend (the entire weekend, well I work 8-midnight friday but that doesn't count because I'm going to be watching a movie and yelling at unruly teenagers XD). Haha I can hardly type too. My observation took forever to type because I kept making several mistakes. I even mistyped my name about 10 times. Kreautzki is apparently my last name, according to myself. Time for bed! This makes me glad I don't do drugs.

Poke Her Face.

This past week has been pretty uneventful. One of my classes ended before spring break so now I don't have classes on Thursday and only have one class at one on Tuesday. The break is nice, especially now that my other classes are picking up on having assignments due. I have my last observation on Tuesday morning. Yay! I'm looking forward to the student teaching, it's just these boring observations I don't like. Most of the time you don't really get to interact with the kids you're just sitting in the back of the classroom watching everything. For 2 1/2 hours it's really dull. Bleh.

So Evan's cousin Megan and I are the same major and we found out that LCCC used to have a really good club for the Early Childhood Education students. We decided to team up and try and get that back on track again. I'm pretty excited about it. We'll be selling tshirts in the school store like the nursing students get to have and all that jazz. We'll help out at FamilyFest in the fall and other activities that the school does. Pretty much we'll be doing community service projects that help children from birth to age 5, since that's what we're covering in our classes.

Evan and I celebrate our two year anniversary on Wednesday. We're going to Olive Garden for dinner which I'm super excited about. I haven't had Olive Garden since August.

It's Not Slime! It's Mucus!

I'm surprisingly in a great mood today. Even though I work this weekend on a very nice day and I go back to school the day after tomorrow. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to class, I missed having stuff that I needed to get done. Which reminds me of some a certain picture file I need to put together for Wednesday and some math homework due Monday night I didn't get around to...

As spring breaks go this one was pretty much like all the others. I don't go anywhere or do much of anything so I can't say I was disappointed in it. It was pretty much just what it was...a break. A much needed break and that made it good.

I have a little less then 2.5 hours of work left. There isn't much of anything to get done because none of the carts are really filling up, mostly just putting stuff in boxes to be sent to other libraries is what I have to do. We're swamped upstairs because of the free taxman being here. Luckily they don't make a complete mess of the place, they just sit there and read a book they brought with them until it's their turn. I'm excited to be going to Sonic later today. I love their slushies. They need to get one in Elyria so I can have them whenever I please. But knowing Elyria and everything closing in it, that won't be happening.

Some Spring Break...

Will the both of you just talk to each other? Please? This whole thing was just a miscommunication. Nothing was intended so lets all try and be a little understanding? Please!!! For the sake of yourselves and all of your friends who love you :)

Banana's In Pajamas

Is it a bad thing when you're going over your boyfriends house to hang out with his mom and not him? See it was just my luck that the new pokemon games come out tomorrow which was the only day of the weekend I had available to hang out with Evan and of course he's had plans the past year to play this game tomorrow. So his mom found out I wasn't coming over and said that she wanted me to and me and her can play games and watch movies and read and whatnot.

Pittsburgh Friday!! I don't know what I'm going to take for our picnic lunch :/ Must think!!

It feels so weird not having to go to class this week. I keep thinking, ugh I have to get up monday morning...wait! no i don't!!! Just work 12-4:30.

It Reminds Me of Raw Meat

Things have surprisingly gone really well this week. I had a math test on Monday that I found out today I got a 100 on. I knew I probably did pretty well but I wasn't expecting that. Also since spring break is next week (finally) all of my professors are adding up their grades and posting them so far. My lowest grade is like a 95.6%. Woot!

So spring break won't be anything special. Lucky me I work every fucking day at the most annoying times in the world. I work 4-7 three days in a row. I hate that shift. I even told them to please stop giving me three hour days because I don't like them, they're a waste of time, but nobody listens. Oooh and another lucky me, I work the last weekend of my spring break and the following saturday which isn't supposed to happen. But it happens to me, always. Yay for being the college student with the funky ass schedule. Grr. The only day I'm looking forward to is next Friday when we go to Pittsburgh. I need to go somewhere, hell even just going into Cleveland makes me happy. I have simple thrills XD

Walk Walk Fashion Baby

So I worked last weekend, so that wasn't anything super exciting. On Tuesday I did my clinical for Child Guidance and Classroom Management. It went really well, all 100's :) I did a intro lesson for preschoolers on basic needs, I aided my lesson by using a book that had penguins in it so even I was excited about the whole thing! So yeah that went well. Umm what else went down....Wednesday Kelsey, Meranda, Steph and I went to Steph's moms work at Caribou and hung out some then went to the metroparks and walked around, goofed off and watched planes take off. Thursday Steph and I went to Jim's Coffeehouse downtown to see open mic night. JAM PACKED. There was not one inch of space that wasn't taken up by anyone. Luckily and surprisingly Evan's aunt was there and there happened to be two open seats at her table XD

Friday after work Sara and I met up with Katy and one of her friends at Dave and Busters for Sara's birthday. OMG this place is epic. I'm addicted to a basketball game where you fling tokens to win tickets. I won 1,066 and I saved them on my D&B card for when I go the next time. Awesome time. I'm glad Sara had a good birthday compared to her last one.

Today I finally got to hang out with Evan. We really hadn't seen each other since Valentines Day because him and his family had been sick and I can't afford to get sick. We watched some Who's Line, a weird show called 1,000 Ways to Die and finally built the Millenium Falcon he bought at the lego store in Downtown Disney. It took us about two hours but it looks awesome, it made me wish I bought something to build while we were down there but oh wells.

Going shopping with my mom tomorrow! :)

I Swear I've Lived and Learned

There is a lot of stuff for school I really really need to get done this weekend, how well that will work out seeing as I work all weekend shall be interesting. I MUST type and email my lesson plan for my clinical to my professor tomorrow. I still have no idea exactly how I'm going to do it and I present on Tuesday. My creative juices need to start flowing. I also need to put together my transition file, I have everything printed I just need to cut, organize and glue onto index cards. Note: buy colored index cards at Staples after work tomorrow. I also really need to start researching stuff for my research pamplet on bullying. It's due Thursday! Bleh. At least once these things are done I'm pretty much finished with that class so then I'll have to focus on the others. I just need to survive this week. Luckily I have monday and wednesday off of work so that will help greatly!

I really need to get back into motivation for this semester. It's only been a little over a month into the semester and its dragging really bad already. Blehh.

Evan's dad asked me to go to Gettysburg with them the weekend right after this semester ends. So maybe if I start a countdown for that I'll start having something to work toward and that includes surviving yet another semester. I did extremely well last semester so there should be no reason why I can't do it again. I just have to try and keep my focus and just get everything done.

While I'm Not on a Boat...

This whole not having a laptop thing, is really killing me. Seriously. Especially having computer hog parents. Meh. But anyways today was like an epic day of awesomeness. Well, okay not exactly that special because thats saved for vacations and times with friends and Evan but it was pretty damn good for just your average Tuesday.

Today I started a new class, yeah it's not exactly the middle of the semester and I started a class, very odd. But it's Health and Wellness and the professor is AWESOME! I swear if I had a penis and was 20 years older I would totally be that guy. It's also a really fun class with pretty laid back people and that's what I like. Laid back but get stuff done. So I had that class and almost won the icebreaker game (I got to hear everyones name like twice and then had to name everyone by face, I only missed 2!) and got some fiber one cereal out of it that I will have for breakfast tomorrow morning.

Also in my Child Guidance class my professor said I was an inspiration and that I would be an amazing teacher, *cue glowing.* I think that just made my life. I have no idea how I got so lucky to have the most amazing professors this year, like holy crap.

I'm beyond super excited for trips this year. Like I think that's what gets me through semesters so smoothly now is knowing that I'll be going somewhere at the end or near the end of it. I cannot wait until March to go to Pittsburgh, I'm so excited to be able to see more of the city and get to know it some, and of course have some Jamba Juice that Meranda goes gaga over, and not the lady kind. June will bring Virginia to see Prowant whom I miss dearly. I'm so amazed at how strong she has been through this whole thing, moving somewhere new away from everyone else. It cannot be easy knowing that we do all of these things and she cannot participate in them because she's so far away, same with Kali. I don't know what I'm going to do when everyone leaves! Steph may be going down to Florida in the fall, Brenda will be going down to Hocking soon, Meranda is trying to escape out of Ohio and Brittany wants to join the Air Force and Kelsey wants to go off to college soon. I'll be the only one left behind here staying at LCCC to get my bachelors. Damn, what am I going to do on the weekends?

And of course there's New York City (omg *spaz*) on my birthday weekend in August. Like holy freaking shit I cannot believe I'm actually going to NYC. HOLY SHIT!!! *spaz attack* It will be epically awesome to wake up on my 20th birthday, look out the window and see the skyline of one of the most dominant cities in the world. Did I meantion holy shit!?! eek! :D

Boogies

Lucky me my laptop decided to be goofy and mess up last night. I was just sitting there watching The Simpsons on hulu when my screen turns pink and fuzzy then turns black but the audio was still playing. So I shut down the computer and restart it and the screen is split into 6 separate mini-screens. When I moved my mouse, there were 6 little cursors moving around in its own little section of the screen. Just my luck. So my dad took it to work today to have the IT guys look at it and they didn't really get that far since my battery died. My dad will take my power cord to work on monday and they'll continue looking at it. They think one of my drivers messed up which could be fixed by downloading new ones or something is wrong with my graphics card or video card. Both of which could be easily fixed by the drivers would be a lot cheaper. Luckily it won't effect all of the stuff saved on my computer THANK GOD. My life is saved on that thing. So I'm using the family computer in the mean time which means I have to fight with my parents to use it. Luckily using it for schoolwork always triumphs :)
