This week has been crappy and it's only Wednesday. I'm currently "working" on my English paper that's due Friday. I have my introduction done, so it's a good start. It's supposed to be a little bit shorter than our other two papers, which is also a bonus, meaning I don't have to BS as much. This week has just been work and procrastination. Surprisingly I'm getting very bored of procrastination. It's not fun when you don't have anything to do during the time you're procrastinating!!! I would much rather clean my room today than write this paper. I had to read 1984 for this paper, annnnnnnnnnd I didn't finish it. In fact, I don't even think I read half of it. I think I'll blame this book for the dark storm cloud that has been looming over my head the past week. It was just way too depressing of a book. The main character is a dickweed and the female in it is annoyingly stupid.
Last week on my way to school we were going down 57 and in the middle of the road there was a fresh roadkill. I hate roadkill, it depresses me. This one really killed me because it was either a small dog or a cat and the head was torn off. Basically nowhere to be found. Its body just lay there in a pool of its own pinkish blood. From that point on the world has seemed so terribly horrible, so uncaring and fast paced that people cannot stop for something? They just plow down everything that's in their way because they're bigger than it is? If the world has become this corrupt already how much worse can it possibly get? Recently it feels like I'm going to school for a degree that won't leave me with anything but thousands of dollars poorer and jobless. What has happened? Nobody cares for anybody but themselves anymore, the news is plastered with swine flu this, woman gets raped that, child abuse everywhere. Where does the madness stop? Everyday criminals are getting off free, celebrities walk as the gods on the earth and the people who actually give a damn, want to make the world a better place get nothing. All left as roadkill on 57.

i like it like that.
I've been productive today :) Which is a first seeing as it's a Sunday I'm not working. Usually Sunday's are my relaxing, not caring about anything day. Today I watched Crash for sociology and took the quiz on it and did my last forum post for English. Now all I have left is my 1984 paper and two finals and I'm doneeee!
Yesterday was hectically super fun. I had a TAB meeting and yoga class at the library. Yoga is definitely a work out, those who say it isn't obviously haven't done it. It was funny because the instructor that came in is actually the teacher for the yoga class at LCCC. So if I ever take it (which it has been in consideration) I know who my teacher is. After that I went to Crocker Park with my mom and grandma. Wasn't a whole lot there. I was basically only interested in the bookstores. Too bad most of the books I want to buy aren't out in paperback yet. Stephanie and Meranda picked me up around 8 and we went to Steph's house for a bonfire. Superfunness. I love love love s'mores. We had a good time, talking and being totally goofy. We then decided to go to the beach and walk around by the lake for a little bit. We ended up at a marina in Lorain that had quite a few people there. We walked around and out onto the quarter mile long peir, in the pitch blackness. It was a really cool effect. You could see the lighthouse lit up in the distance and the lights from the shore playing off the waves in the lake. After that we took Ashley and Dillon back to Lakewood and then we came home. Good good time. :)
12 days til vacation!!!

Beans, Beans...
This week is going pretty damn slow. To the point of driving me nuts. The past 10 minutes have felt like hours. Not that today has been bad. It's just been really slow. Classes went well. We presented our choreographed children's songs in music today, which is a riot at times. It was a lot of fun but near the end it seemed to drag on. I was happy to get out of class 15 minutes early though. I went with Sara to pick up stuff for her dad's new turtles. They're really teeny and super cute. They're silly too. We named them Raphael, Edward and Bella. Only because they just sounded like awesome names for turtles.
Sunday I went to Columbus, although it was technically Dublin, with Evan, Michelle and Ebert and his parents for his cousins graduation party from Penn State Law. I had more fun then I thought I was going to. They had a swingset that I probably had a little too much fun with. We went to the mall at Tuttle Crossing. I ended up getting a little penguin from the vending machine. I found it strange how no matter where we went, there were always Canadian Geese. Everywhere. It was funny.
I get to leave for work in an hour. I really don't want to go tonight only because I have so much stuff to work on thats due on Thursday and of course I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but not Thursday. That doesn't help at all seeing as everything is due at 9:30 am Thursday morning. *sigh* I have three lesson plans to type up. Which isn't really a problem, it's just finding all of my justifications and typing up every single little detail. Then my Philosophy of Education which will be very simple since I had to do one in TEE. Not much has changed so all I have to add is the philosopher I'm following.
Of course, here comes a headache. Joy.

Egotism is the Anesthetic That Dulls The Pain of Stupidity
Wow, I didn't realize I haven't blogged in awhile.
The past couple weeks have been pretty calm. I don't really have anything major to do. I'll officially be finished with finals and everything in exactly three weeks. Then I'm off 5 days in a row for memorial day weekend. Spend 3 days in Kentucky with Evan and his parents, relax for a day and then the David Cook concert. I'm suuuper excited for Kentucky. I freaking love Evan's parents. They're exactly like my parents, which is kind of weird, in an awesome homey way.
School's going swimmingly I suppose. I'm pretty excited for it to end but also not because I really do enjoy my classes. My music class which I thought I was going to fail miserably actually proved me wrong. I have a 96% in the class. I guess I'm not musically challenged. I love my Intro to ECE. Professor Head is amazingness, I love her and everyone in my class. We all get along so well. I'm glad to know I have some of them in my classes in the fall so I'm happy about that. I would be even more happy if I had a car. That's why I'm not motivated to go take my driving test because I won't have a car. It feels kind of pointless then :/ I would love to have my license and a car by fall but unfortunately the car part probably won't be happening.
Went shopping with Sara at Southpark Mall today. That was a good time. I only ended up buying one shirt because I'm not into summer clothes all that much. Shorts always make my ass feel bigger and my legs shorter. Not a self-esteem rising combonation.
Going to Columbus with Evan, his parents, Michelle and Ebert on Sunday. His cousin just graduated from Penn State law school and we're going to her grad party, along with shopping and walking around Columbus. Love love love going somewhere :D

I Don't Own Emotion, I Rent.
Amazing weekend!
Friday Evan and I hung out as our usual one day hang out and we went to go see the Hannah Montana movie, which I was very surprised that I liked. It definitely wasn't the greatest thing in the world but it was cute. We then ate at Applebee's which I only like for their french onion soup, only because I can never figure out what else to get. We walked around the mall for a little bit until his mom picked us up and we filled out mad-libs on his swing on the back patio. It was a beautiful day and just so relaxing! We walked down to the park to see if George the duck was back and he wasn't :'( I keep hoping he's going to come back someday. When we got done we went back to his house then went to Twist and Shake and had ice cream :D I loves Twist and Shake!
Saturday was the road trip to see RENT on Broadway in Pittsburgh with Meranda and Stephanie. Pittsburgh is freaking amazing!! The air feels clean, the rivers aren't brown and the people are nice (minus an old coot on a bike). I love the feel of the river in the city and there was this little park across from the skyline that had an amazing view with the sun shining on it. I would totally live there. The play was amazingness! It was so cool to see Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal performing in person. Especially when Anthony is a foot away from you signing your program. I was very surprised at how short he is. He's like 2 inches taller than me. He is one short dude. I wasn't able to get Adam's autograph because he went out a different door :'( but one is better than none! The ride home was almost unbearable for me. I had a killer headache and was starving and felt very nausious and "pukey". After Stephanie and Meranda stopped in a McDonalds right when we got back into Ohio I konked out and didn't wake up until right when we got off the turnpike back home. Ohio sure is easy to sleep though! I got home close to 3am, called Evan because I really missed him <3 and went to sleep and woke up at 9:30 this morning.
I get to relax tomorrow and work on my lesson plan for music class. Maybe watch a movie or something.

Nothing Ever Goes Away
I was so glad to have today's classes over with. In music I had to sing Frere Jacques in solfege in front of the class. EVERYBODY was in choir in high school. I was the only one who didn't have any sort of musical background at all. Pressure was on. I guess I did well. He said my solfege was good and so was the singing but my pitch on the F at the end was a little off. As long as I got an A I don't care. We have a lesson plan due in there on Tuesday that I have to pull out of my ass. I'm glad I'm taking less lesson plan based classes in the fall. It is a very mundane task.
Also today I had to do my in-class clinical for Intro to ECE. You have to write up a lesson plan and perform the lesson using your classmates as pre-schoolers. Harder than it looks! The class was nice to me though and didn't cause a ruckus when they had to stop, drop and roll on the floor. The lesson could have been better but it also could have been much much worse. My feedback from the class was really good. Everyone has to complete peer evaluations for each person presenting and all of mine were good (emphazizing my enthusiasm :D).
This next month will be grueling as the semester comes to a close. I have regular classes until the the 7th of May then I have one exam the next week and my second recorder recital then the next week I only have one final. I don't know how my online finals are supposed to work out. I know one of them is online some weekend. With my luck its the one I work or am on vacation. I just want to be done!!

Love Is Just A Chemical Creation
Evan and I randomly decided to have fun for this Friday and see the Hannah Montana movie. I surprisingly really want to know what happens! It doesn't look like a complete loss of a movie, minus the fact that there will be thousands of annoying tweens but other than that it should be funny. I was surprised Evan was up for it. He's awesome! Currently sitting here waiting for David Cooke tickets to go on sale for his show at LC. Mom was like freaking out when she found out he was coming here so me and my parents will be going.
Currently listen to Nickelback. I'll get to see them in August!!! :D
Schools going steadily. I cannot wait to get this semester overwith. Even though it went by very fast, I really want summer and vacation. I'll get to read!! Books!!!! Not textbooks, their crappy cousins twice removed by marriage. Only another month to go then I'm free for a couple months at least.

Oh, You Do Smell Good.
I went to the Twilight midnight movie party at the library last night. So much fun!!! First there was a big game of Jeopardy with questions about the books and movie. When my number finally got called I received probably one of the worst questions. "How many days was the movie filmed?" Yeah right!!! Like I'm really going to know that!? Apparently it's 48. Now I'll never freaking forget that. Other people got super easy ones like "What class do Edward and Bella have together?" Why couldn't I have gotten something like that? Anyways, since I didn't win the question I had to pick a prize from the loser table. I picked something for Evan. I'm not going to say what it is now because it's a surprise for him and if he's reading this it would be ruined.
After the game we watched the movie which is a whole lot more amusing when you're with a big group of people. Creating random commentary and noises. Very amusing. Jacqui and her cacti. It was a really good time. Mandie was there and I haven't seen her in forever and a friend I had made at the lock in who I haven't seen since. Good time :D

Someday We'll Look Back On This Moment And Plow Into A Parked Car
Today was a typical day. Classes went well albeit boring. We started in-class clinical's for ECE today. Everyone in the classroom has to perform a lesson to the class along with their typed lesson plan. The rest of the class gets to act like pre-schoolers. It's quite humorous.
I have millions of things due this month...
- English paper
- In class clinical
- 3 extra lesson plans for ECE
- One lesson plan for music
- Singing recital
- Infant and Toddler volunteer hours
- All my sociology random small essays and quizzes each week.
44 days 'til vacation!

Finish Each Day and Be Done With It. You Have Done What You Could.
Today was most epic, even though my camera is SHIT. Why do I always get the problem of my fucking pictures not saving on the fucking MEMORY CARD!?!?! That's basically the only thing a stupid camera has to do in its life, save pictures. If it was hired to do that it would be FIRED because it fucking sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!
*ahem* Anyways...I went to the zoo today with Evan. The animals were extremely active today. Well...not the tigers, as seen above but I assure you the others were. There were tons of giraffes. I swear there were like 6 of them. Two of them were babies. They also have a new pack of wolves. Which was amazingly awesome seeing as I never get to see the wolves when I go there. There was one that kept pacing by the glass and that's all it did, all day. I got to pet a armadillo!!! They're actually very cute and feel like a smooth wood with bristles, like a hairbrush. I also saw a swan for the first time. Which was suuuuuper amazing. It was chillin with the Canadian Geese, I guess they're homies. I got to talk to this really cool woman who's a zoo volunteer who puts in almost 200 hours there a year. She's been all over the place, seen glaciers and traveled through Alaska. It was just awesome hearing about her life. She's hoping to go back there next year for her and her husbands 25th wedding anniversary.
T'was a pretty great day. After that we went back to Evan's house and had steak and au gratin potatoes (my favorite!!). It was super yummy and now I am stuffed and tired.
