Roll the Steak and Eggs...Tomorrow?

Today Evan and I celebrate our two and a half year anniversary, even though we're not exactly celebrating it seeing as I have school and we both have work today. But whatevs :P

So my music appreciation class and film appreciation class started this week. Here's my views:
1) Film appreciation: The professor has a great sense of humor and is very laid back. The material that we cover in class is very interesting, not so much the book. It's really cool to watch clips of all of these really old movies and see how things have changed. This class is pretty demanding for a 10 week course but that's to be expected. I think I'll enjoy it, I've learned so much from it already and it's only been the first week.

2) Music appreciation: A lot more in depth than I was expecting. Once again the professor has a great sense of humor and you can definitely tell that he is very passionate about what he teaches. We pretty much just reviewed everything I learned in Fundamentals of Music yesterday with even more material. I now can tell you all of the Italian terms for playing fast to slow and soft to loud and am pretty good at listening to a piece and telling you the time signature. I actually found myself doing it to songs on my ipod last night. This class is EXTREMELY demanding. There is so much stuff we have to do and so many tests. I have the sudden urge to play the piano. I think I may buy myself a keyboard, I could use it in my classroom!
