Wow. This weekend has been unbelievably crazy/fun/exhausting. It has been dubbed the best Labor Day weekend ever. I was off work Thursday-Monday so that was amazing in itself. Tomorrow it's back to class and work but I don't mind. Get my education on and make some monies :)
Thursday even though I was off I still had class until 2:15. Biology lecture felt like it took FOREVER and it was just quick note taking after note taking. After class Jess and I "worked" on our study guide outlines for class and then went up to the high school to see how the damage was going. It's insane how it's pretty much almost gone. Elyria students finally go back to school tomorrow, including my cousin Kaitlyn who starts kindergarten at Prospect<3 After our adventure it was back to campus so I could wait for my 1 o'clock class. I wasted time by getting a fruit cup and a $1 salad, which both were amazing by the way. Chatted with Kelsey and Melissa and then to class. After class Evan's mom picked me up and I hung out at Evan's the rest of the day.
Friday I helped Evan's mom paint Evan's room in the morning, went out with Kelsey and Steph in the afternoon and then had dinner over Jessie's for some of her mom's yummy spaghetti.
Saturday morning I volunteered to help at LCCC's Campus in a Garden event. Students from LCCC and Oberlin college got together to help our campus become more green by planting and tending to various gardens around campus. So we had members of the ECE club come and help out in the Children's sensory garden. I met some great people and learned a lot about how some people decided to get into the education field. Everyone has a great story. I also will get extra credit for biology ;) Saturday afternoon I ran around with mom a little bit. Grocery store, visiting grandma, etc. Saturday evening Meranda and I went out to Great Northern for some shopping and Starbucks ;) I must say I found some pretty great deals. Go shopping on Labor Day weekend, you will not be disappointed.
On Sunday mom, grandma and I went out to Beachwood Place in Lyndhurst. We haven't been there in a few years and my mom was on a mission for another designer purse so we went there. Needless to say she found one and I was happy to finally be in a Borders again. Sunday evening we had a spontaneous bonfire at Kelsey's. It was loads of fun and I think we need to have more bonfires at Kelsey's from now on. ;)
Today was a little more relaxing of the rest of the weekend. I went with the family to have breakfast at Bob Evan's. In the afternoon Kelsey and I went out to the Half Price Books in Rocky River for their everything is 20% off sale and visited Steph at work. Luckily I've been able to relax this evening which mostly includes reading another Nicholas Sparks book and watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oh yeah, and homework that I procrastinated on all weekend XD luckily there isn't that much.
