Whoops. Airport Rant.

Holy testicle Tuesday it's December. It feels like a week ago I played 3 hours of charades with Evan, Ebert and Michelle on New Years Eve. Five days from now a year ago I was leaving for Disney world feeling like puking from all the Gforces on my first plane ride. While I hate planes I love them. It's so cool to see the world down below. I love airports. When we were in Orlando there was a Borders on our concorse. The freaking airport can have a bookstore but our mall can't... The hustle and bustle of airports is facinating. You have your relaxed business men who do this all the time, you have your disasterous families that are freaking out over everything because "dear, the children are putting boogers on each other again, make them stop" or "dear, we forgot the travel toothpastes. dammit honey why are you so fucking forgetful? why the hell did I marry you!?!" Then you have your happy excited families that are bouncing around saying every two minutes "we're goin to disneyyyy we're goin to disneyyyyy." There's your old ladies, old mennies, the tall cute guy with the guitar or book or headphones on or drawing pad or laptop or chopsticks. There's your questionable possible terrorists, the confused foreigners, the small group of college girls with flash photography, the honeymooners, the poet, the family with 20 kids, the crying babies and the bald guy. All at the airport. All deciding to get to their destination via 40,000 feet above the ground they live on. Around the airport are random shops to get items from the main local attractions just in case you didn't visit them but you can pretend you did. The random cafes, expensive McDonalds/Antie Annes and unaccompanied bags! Okay, I didn't mean for this to turn into an airport rant. Maybe I should write a book for that.

Anyway, ah yes, December. That means the beginning of winter which came this year right on December 1st. What perfect timing. There's snow on the ground and there's rumor that there's more coming. The semester ends next week (oh my fucking god it's about time) so that means my work schedule will go back to normal (finally) and I'll have time to READ! :D
