Follow Your Heart, Your Intuition

I think I've become addicted to this whole blogging thing. It only took this half a year to do it. Muahaha! 161 days!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways I'm freakin excitedness.

Holy crap, it's July now. That's crazy. It feels like the year just started and now it's more than halfway over. Blehhhh. 2009 has been a good year.

Work last night was hell. Our full time page is on vacation so our carts are getting backed up since there are only us coming in at 4:30. That means we have to go around and put stray books away that are on the carts. The paperbacks and magazines were as I expected, that took about 20 minutes to do. Then I did the carts in the adult side. One of them had this huge pile of video tapes and dvds on it. I went to go take it to the AV desk because obviously someone didn't want them if they're on the cart and this fat ass lady comes up to me and is all "Uhm those are mine, you didn't take any did you?". I seriously wanted to tell this lady off because the carts aren't there for lazy asses who can't carry all the shit they're taking out. Those are what BASKETS ARE FOR. She needed a serious betch slap the shetbag. When I'm done with the adult side I go into the childrens room. Mind you there were 3 children's librarians in today, I was working by myself to clean everything up. There are these big crates that are on the floor to collect the books people decide they aren't going to take out, all of the crates were full. Normally the librarians are supposed to help seeing as they know where everything goes too, but no. I had to put away over 130 books that weren't even on a cart that I get to mark down on my work sheet. This took up an hour. I finally got to the point were I could sort and put away a cart. By then I was exhausted and didn't want to do anything but I forced myself to. There was a non-fiction cart behind the desk so I took it downstairs to get at least half of it done since I was running out of time. I get downstairs, there are 3 other full carts of stuff thats not sorted or put away. Gah. So I got that nonfiction cart sorted and sorted a fiction cart and put half of that away before I had to take my break and do deliveries. At least I have someone working with me tonight so hopefully it won't be as bad.

Ouch, now I'm really sick of typing and looking at the computer screen.
