But When the Daylight Comes I'll Have to Go

1. I should probably just jump in the shower instead of blogging right now, but I keep going back and forth between this and watching Captain America.

2. I feel very adult-like, especially over the past week.  I think the fact that I've been driving is helping.  I've noticed that I definitely enjoy driving a lot more now than I did when I first got my temps like four years ago. My temps expire this July and I'm aiming to get my license before they expire so I don't have to take that crappy written test again.  I also love my cousins car and driving my dads truck isn't as bad as I was expecting.  I am also a pretty kickass parker.

3. So graduation was...12 days ago now?  I've come to terms with being out of school.  It's still pretty weird and I'm sure it will be even more weird when August comes around and everyone else is going back to school and I'm not.  Right now the goals are to find a job (luckily I have an interview for a full time position next Wednesday so here's hoping!) and work on getting my license so I can get a car because I really want one now.  I also really want an iPhone and to just save money for a few vacations next year.  I so miss having an income.

4. Slowly working on cleaning my room, yet again.  How the heck do rooms get messy so fast??  We ran into a speed bump yesterday when I was doing a load of laundry and the washer decided to not stop filling up and start flooding the house.  My dad just had arm surgery the day before so I pretty much had to do everything so I got to crawl into some tiny ass spaces of the house and use my now noticeable lack of muscle power to move some levers and twist some faucets that haven't been touched since before I was even born. At least now I know that when I'm out on my own, always learn where the main water shut-off is.

5. Going to Cedar Point on Sunday!  I haven't been since like...the 8th grade?  I don't ride rollercoasters but I love a lot of the smaller rides and walking on the beach.  Luckily, Evan feels the same way so we'll have a good time.  I'm excited to ride the ferris wheel because I seriously haven't ridden one of those since I was five.  I'm also mega excited to try Pinks hot dogs.  I've definitely been craving chili cheese dogs like no other the past month.
