Peanut Butter Jelly Time

Well poo. I keep forgetting about this damn thing now which isn't good because next semester I have to keep one of these. Alright, quick updates because I'm anxious to get to reading my book.

1. This semester is going very well. Little stressful in the beginning but I'm getting used to things and really enjoy it. My whole Block One class is just epic. I love these people.

2. I started my field at Oakwood three weeks ago with 4th graders. They are wonderful. There may be some misbehaviors but these kids are amazing. My only problem has been learning their names. My mentor teacher is pretty epic too. :) I always get lucky.

3. Life is wonderful even though I haven't had time to clean my room or do laundry at all for the past month. Not good. Maybe I can get to some this weekend.

4. Evan and I are doing very well. He even cut his hair pretty short which I find very attractive. Short red hair with his dark rimmed glasses? Me likey. XP

5. The only problem the last three weeks is I've been breaking out in acne on my chin like a pre-pubescent teenager. Not cool. One goes away, another pops up.

6. All set to go to the American Middle School Conference in November! Just have to book the hotel room since there's only 3 of us girls & 7 guys?

7. Disney is getting closer! I cannot believe it is less than 100 days away now (95...). Our flight has been booked. We ended up flying out of Columbus straight to Orlando since Chicago normally has horrid snowstorms and we didn't want to risk it. I don't mind, it will be less time on a plane. At least Michelle will keep me occupied since she isn't a fan of flying either. I have a love/hate relationship with flying. It's an amazing concept, I love seeing things from so high above. On the other hand I think if September 11th had nothing to do with planes and I wasn't both paranoid that the plane was going to fall or there's a terrorist on it I would only have one thing to worry about.

8. Probably going to Gettysburg next summer since the plans fell through last year. Yeah! Abraham Lincoln!
