Get Your Head In The Game Potter!

Oh yay, another Monday.

This weekend was crazy busy. Thursday I hung out with Sara some. Friday went over Merandas with Steph and Brenda and made yummy cupcakes and friendship bracelets out of embroidery floss (note to self: buy some and make more bracelets). We watched the movie version of RENT to get ready for the photoshoot the next day. Meranda, Stephanie and I went to the lake again but this time there were big waves that would crash against the pier and we stood there waiting to catch a wave and get soaked. There were a couple really good ones :)

Saturday morning was the photoshoot which went very well minus the rain, but it really wasn't that bad. I was the perky hobo with the pigtails thats in the broadway version and Angel. Meranda was my Collins :P We did the shoot in Oberlin which was pretty much amazingness. I had never really walked around Oberlin that much and grew to really like it really fast. We found this small creek that had a bridge and some interesting stone steps. I fell in love. If I ever need to do some serious thinking I know where I'm going now. We ate at an ice cream shoppe named Yesterdays. I love it there too! They had cheap good food and amazing lemonade.

Saturday evening was the Straight No Chaser concert. They were freaking amazingness. We got autographs after the show and they were really nice and talking to everyone, not all stuck uppity. We even waited until after everyone got autographs and got a picture with all of them. Hopefully we'll be going to Canton in December to see them again.

Sunday I went to the mall with my mom and grandma even though I knew I should have been working on my song and fingerplay file for art and music for young children. Soo...I started it at 6pm sunday evening. Finally finished at 12:30am. Got to bed at 1:00am, woke up at 6:30 am to do work for parent involvement. It's been exhausting. I was so glad to be home from school today. I made spaghetti with whole wheat organic pasta today. I don't think I'll ever go back to regular pasta because the flavor on this stuff is phenomenal.

Classes went well today. That mythology paper I was fretting over a couple weeks ago we got back today. 85% baby!! Apparently I didn't do as bad as I thought. In fact I did pretty good since almost everyone else got a 78%. He's even letting us revise them for more credit. I'm aiming for another A for this class. That will give me 3 definite A's I think I'll have this quarter which I'm pretty ecstatic about. Over the weekend we had to make an example of different clays for our clay lab today in art and music. I was assigned "ooey-gooey cornstarch clay". I was highly amused by this stuff, although it was extremely messy. I was covered in cornstarch most of the day. Everyone was assigned different clays so it was pretty cool messing around with all of these different ones.

Meranda and I went out to North Olmstead. We both took books to sell to Half Price Books. I got $5! So I ended up buying one of those Moleskin teeny tiny address books that I can keep in my purse. Then we went over to Platos closet which OMG is screaming spend your checking account on me. The only problem was a lot of the stuff was shrunk so you would normally have to get a size up. They had a ton of stuff in small which wasn't helpful. Most of it looked like kids sizes because of the shrinkage. But I found a tank topish thing for $4 that is dark purple and has white buttons with gray polka dots and a little stitched heart on the side. It's so soft too! Me loves <3

I'm happy I've been able to read a ton of books since school has started. I just finished "Sams Letters to Jennifer" by James Patterson a couple of days ago. OMG amazing book. You must read this. I liked it so much I bought his "Suzanne's Diary to Nicolas." Right now I'm reading Elie Wiesel's "Night." I loves it but it makes me very sad. I really need to stop reading the Holocaust books. They're just downright upsetting. :(

cheers! <3
